This pretty box is covered in an antique reproduction calico and is 4” across and 2” high. It is made to look old and distressed. Inside the lid is a sweet love quote “Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit…“
The little heart pincushion is just over 3” x 3”. It is made from a larger weaved linen type of fabric. It has a little heart appliquéd on from antique calicos and vintage notions. The heart has little x’s stitched along the seam.
Attached inside is another round pincushion made from antique red velvet with another heart in antique calico stitched on and a few more vintage pins for prettiness.
Both pincushions are filled with locally sourced sheep wool.
