Hello, and happy first day of Spring! One of the most beautiful seasons here in Pennsylvania. Welcome Spring! Please come in and stay a while.

What a nice feeling it is to have the sun’s warmth coming in through the window behind me, knowing that winter is just that also, behind!!!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve had some “mojo” issues lately.  Not that there was a lack of inspiration, especially with the new season upon us, it was more the motivation.  I didn’t have the desire to actually go and make something.  I would dream about ideas, but to do it was a big road block. Does that ever happen to any of you? How do you bring it back?  I noticed that I didn’t want to invest a lot of time into anything.  Changing the pillows around in my living room would satisfy the need for a little change without having to do much work.  It was terrible and depressing.  I did pray about this a lot, but sometimes I don’t always listen.  I should have pushed through it.  I think my heart would have been better for it if I had.

Last week, I started feeling the desire to create again. Praise God!! Maybe it was that extra hour of sunlight, I don’t know.  I am now working hard and as fast as I can to get ready for 1824 Walker Farmhouse’s Spring opening day April 1st.  Also, I am creating new one of a kinds for you here. Stop by at the end of the week for a few new offerings.  I’ve been knitting, and teaching myself to crochet too. (Thank you youtube!)   Would you be interested in any of those kinds of things?  …Like this little nest I made this past weekend?  I’d love to hear from you.

I hope you all have a beautiful day ahead! xoxo

Below is the link and she also has one on her profile page. Have a happy day friends! 🍒

Although I love Christmastime, my heart is always Although I love Christmastime, my heart is always in the garden and nature. January is the time to think about and plan for the new season. I am going to slow it down and not order as many seeds this year - just my favorites. I want to try and work with what I have. We’ll see how that all goes haha!
Also, last week I started a bit spring stitching, and a few new rabbits too! (AND bluebirds - thank you for all of the lovely messages and comments 💙) All coming in a few weeks.
Have a happy day and week ahead my friends! #handmade #gardenlove #slowstitching
