After a totally wonderful few days with all of my friends at 1824 Walker Farmhouse, Dino and I have been getting ready and are so excited for Lydia to come home…this evening! Before that happens, I wanted to share a few pictures from the weekend. Thanks to so many of you for coming to visit us. I can’t even begin to tell you how blessed I am to be a part of this tradition, and something I look forward to every year. We so appreciate all of you, waiting in line on a cold evening, and greeting us with hugs. Meeting new people and enjoying old friends, with all of us cheering on the blessings of the season. My cup is full!
Happy Christmas Season!

Snow! It came the day before and looked so pretty on the Walker Farmhouse.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Doors open.

Christmas inside the shop.

BFF’s always

I loved this for the birds made by Jeannie from Twin Oaks Farm ~ so sweet and so simple. I bought a few!

Jeannie also makes pretty pieces mostly from salvaged wool. You can see her mittens and ice skates here on the tree.

Janice and Stephanie were in the cellar of the 1824 Walker house.

Stephanie from “Rachel’s Ladder” brought so many pretty vintage Christmas wares.

And Janice’s lovely creations are simply beautiful.

My heart! You can find Janice at “The Garden Shed in Cabot”

On Friday evening, David and Audrey also open their home and cook ham over the open hearth.

David is a blacksmith, and made these lovely pieces to hold the fruit for a colonial style Christmas.

Their pretty tree all dressed in early and vintage red ornaments.

David getting the table ready for the first round of guests. What a man! ….Audrey says “sorry ladies, he’s taken”

Saturday morning sunshine on the garden shed.

Don’t melt Mr. Snowman!

And that a wrap for this years “Christmas in the Country”, but before you go….

here is a little treat for you! These were the biggest hit this year. Jeannie’s recipe for Raspberry Marzipan Bars. She was kind enough to share it with me.

Of course, mine will never taste like her’s because she has a secret ingredient…her own raspberry preserves. Still, I will make them every year ~ they are that good!
Looks like a wonderful time!
thanks Cheryl! It really is the best. I am so sorry for the late reply. I somehow missed your comment.
How did I miss these wonderful pictures!
My favorite is you & Audrey<3
